Mission Statement

The Garment Foundation exists to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through real estate and community outreach. Inspired by Matthew 9:21, we provide financial assistance and support to individuals and families in need of housing-related aid.

How We Help

  • Security Deposits & Broker Fees – Helping renters secure housing.

  • Down Payment Assistance – Supporting first-time homebuyers.

  • Seller Assistance – Providing funds for pre-market repairs.

  • Community Outreach – Hosting faith-based workshops and events to empower individuals with financial literacy, homeownership education, and spiritual growth.

2. How The Garment Foundation Works with The Garment Team

The Garment Foundation is funded primarily by The Garment Team.

  • 10% of every transaction closed by agents on The Garment Team goes directly to the Foundation.

  • This allows us to create a sustainable giving model where real estate transactions fuel our mission to serve others.

  • In addition to agent contributions, we accept outside donations from individuals, businesses, and faith-based organizations.

3. How to Apply for Assistance

We provide financial aid for housing-related expenses through an application process.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must demonstrate financial need due to a housing-related hardship.

  • Assistance is available for renters, buyers, and sellers.

  • Applicants must submit supporting documents (e.g., lease agreement, repair estimates, proof of income).

How to Apply

  1. Complete an Online Application – Submit details about your housing need.

  2. Review Process – Our board evaluates applications based on need and fund availability.

  3. Decision & Distribution – Approved applicants receive financial assistance directly to their landlord, lender, or contractor.
